2025 Leo Reading

Hello my lovely Leos! Welcome to your 2025 reading. This year, we’re taking a fresh approach. Spirit has guided me to shift away from the usual yearly readings on YouTube and instead bring these insights directly here for you to reflect on throughout the year. For this reading, I’m using three decks: the African Tarot (similar to the traditional Rider Waite deck), the Well Worn Path, and my Rootworker’s Oracle deck. Don’t forget to check your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs as things may resonate differently.

For the present, which is the overall energy right now, I pulled the knight of wands, the friend, and the card of the key. The knight of wands comes with change, it is a card of vision and creativity. Leos, you are currently stepping into a dynamic and energetic phase with the Knight of Wands, representing your bold, passionate, and determined nature. This energy comes to bring the drive to take action and move forward on your goals with confidence and ambition. The knight is active and on the go. Make sure to harness this energy in constructive ways and don’t become too impulsive. The friend card comes behind this and this deals with supportive bonds and relationships. This is a time to lean on trusted friends and also embrace new partnerships. A period and year that values collaboration and support, be open to receiving help. You don’t have to do everything alone, Leo. The key behind this speaks to the tools and opportunities that are available to you to unlock the doors to your desires. This year comes with new understandings. This is a time to explore what lies beneath the surface, whether in personal growth, relationships, or career endeavors. By taking ownership of the key, you can open doors to new pathways, revelations, and opportunities. Spirit is encouraging you to embrace your role and recognize the power that you have to shape your destiny.

For challenges, I received the 3 of Swords, Pluto, and the Stag Horned God. The 3 of Swords shows some emotional pain, disappointment, or unresolved heartaches that you may be holding on to. This card speaks to feelings of loss or betrayal, but it also serves as a reminder that healing comes from acknowledging and processing these emotions. A period of shadow work for you leo.  There’s a call here to face your challenges head-on and release anything that no longer serves you, as clinging to old wounds will only hinder your progress. Pluto comes with transformation and rebirth. This is a time of shedding old layers, much like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Pluto’s energy reminds you that challenges often bring profound growth and transformation. While this may feel uncomfortable, trust that these changes are helping you evolve into a stronger, more empowered version of yourself. Embrace the shifts happening in your life, even if they seem exhausting.  The Stag Horned God focuses on the divine expression of masculine energy and the importance of grounding yourself in the material world. It encourages you to pay attention to the details of your current challenges rather than solely focusing on the big picture. This card brings a message of being present in the moment and develop a strategy for working through obstacles. The Stag speaks to matters of career, protection, and material abundance, reminding you that patience and persistence are key. Leos, this is a call to balance your drive with mindfulness as you navigate these cycles of growth and change. Challenges may feel overwhelming, but they are shaping you into someone more resilient and capable. By staying grounded, addressing emotional wounds, and embracing transformation, you will come out on the other side stronger and more aligned with your higher self.

I pulled on some underlying roots or influences for this year and we get the world, the guru, and the cauldron. The World speaks to completion, wholeness, and fulfillment. This year, there are cycles coming to a close, making way for new beginnings. This card reflects the  influence of achievement and the desire to bring your efforts to fruition. Any challenges that you have endured are part of a greater plan for you, just remember that. Celebrate how far you have come. The guru behind this deals with spiritual wisdom and guidance. There could be some type of mentor or teacher or a spiritual path that shapes your growth this year.   The Cauldron represents the bubbling energy of manifestation, indicating that you are on the brink of bringing your desires and intentions into reality. This card reminds you that everything you’ve been working on is simmering beneath the surface, preparing to take form. It encourages patience and trust in the process, knowing that the energy you’ve invested will soon materialize into tangible results. The Cauldron also hints at transformation.

So how do you appear to others this year Leo? For this, we pulled the king of wands, lodestone, and ancestral spirit. The King of Wands, others see you as a natural leader, someone who exudes confidence, passion, and a clear vision. You are perceived as a person who inspires and motivates those around you, a leader to most people. . People see you as someone who takes charge and leads with purpose, often looking up to you for guidance and direction. The Lodestone signifies that you act as a magnetic force, drawing people and opportunities toward you. Your energy is captivating, and others are naturally attracted to you.  This card also shows your ability to attract the resources and support needed to fulfill your goals. People see you as someone who is both grounded and influential, capable of aligning yourself with what you desire. The Ancestral Spirit comes behind this, showing that you carry the legacy and wisdom of those who came before you. You are seen as someone deeply connected to your roots and your purpose. This energy reflects a person who understands the value of experience and the importance of leaving a legacy for future generations. Others see you as someone who is influential and it appears that you will be making changes for your bloodline this year.

For influencing aspects, I pulled the 9 of Wands, the Coven, and Water. The 9 of Wands shows that you’ve been through a lot and may feel like you’re running on fumes, but you haven’t given up. Your strength and determination are amazing, and even though the journey has been tough, you’re so close to a breakthrough.  Your perseverance is paying off, even if it doesn’t feel like it just yet. The Coven is a  reminder of the power of community and connection. Whether it’s friends, family, or your spiritual circle, there are people around you who are rooting for you and ready to support you. This is a time to lean into those relationships. You don’t have to do it all on your own, let the people who care about you help carry the load when you need it. Water brings in the energy of emotions and intuition. It’s a reminder to go with the flow and trust your instincts. If something feels off, listen to that inner voice. Water also asks you to nurture yourself emotionally, don’t forget to take moments to rest, recharge, and process everything you’re feeling. Staying in touch with your emotions will help you move through any challenges with more ease. These cards together are saying: stay strong, lean on your people, and stay in tune with yourself. You’ve got everything you need to navigate this moment, and Spirit is guiding you every step of the way.

For the theme, I pulled the Ace of Pentacles, the In-Laws card, and the card of the Mother. The Ace of Pentacles brings the energy of fresh starts and new opportunities, especially in areas related to your material world, think career, finances, or anything that brings you a sense of stability and growth. This card is a blessing, showing that Spirit is offering you a chance to plant seeds for something truly abundant. It’s a reminder to take those first steps and nurture these opportunities so they can grow into something lasting. The In-Laws card suggests that relationships and family dynamics, whether by blood or through partnerships, play a big role in your current energy. This could point to navigating relationships with extended family or addressing how outside influences affect your sense of balance. It may also encourage you to look at how these connections can support or challenge your goals. Either way, family connections seem to be shaping the larger picture right now. The Mother card brings nurturing, care, and creation to the forefront. This energy is about embracing the role of provider, whether for yourself or others, and focusing on what truly matters in your life. It’s also a reminder to nurture your own dreams and well-being with the same love and attention you give to others. Spirit might be calling you to reconnect with that grounding, protective energy that only mothers can provide. Together, these cards tell a story of new beginnings rooted in support systems, family connections, and nurturing energy. The theme here is about building something meaningful, leaning into relationships that matter, and remembering to take care of yourself while you take care of others. It’s a beautiful balance of opportunity, love, and grounding. Also this could be a reminder to protect your energy and influences from those who may be closest to you, especially if they are not aligning with your goals.

For aspirations and concerns, I pulled the Emperor, the Preacher, and the card of Fire. The Emperor reflects your desire to establish structure, control, and a sense of authority in your life. You’re craving stability and a solid foundation, whether that’s in your career, relationships, or personal goals. At the same time, this card can reveal a concern about whether you’re truly in control or if external circumstances are challenging your ability to lead and organize your life the way you want. The Preacher points to a deep aspiration for purpose and alignment. You want to live in a way that reflects your values and beliefs, but it also suggests a concern about whether your actions are staying true to those ideals. Spirit may be asking you to reflect on how you’re expressing your personal truths and whether you’re allowing yourself to live authentically. There’s also a hint here about guiding or inspiring others through your own example, which might feel like both a responsibility and a challenge. The card of Fire brings passion, drive, and intensity into the mix. You aspire to harness your inner fire to fuel your goals, but there’s also a concern about burnout or feeling overwhelmed by the sheer force of your ambitions. Fire asks you to channel your energy carefully, ensuring it’s focused and sustainable. It’s a reminder to embrace your passions without letting them consume you. Together, these cards show that you’re striving to build a life of purpose, control, and passion. Spirit recognizes the intensity of your desires but also encourages you to balance that drive with authenticity and care. You’re being reminded that you have the power to create the life you want—just make sure to approach it with clarity and focus.

For advice, I pulled the Hanged Man, Spiritual Cleanse, and As Above So Below. The Hanged Man is asking you to pause and shift your perspective. Sometimes, stepping back and seeing things from a different angle can bring clarity and solutions you didn’t notice before. It’s okay to surrender to the moment and trust that the answers will come when the time is right. This is a time for patience and reflection, not rushing forward. The Spiritual Cleanse reminds you to release any energetic baggage you may be carrying. Whether it’s lingering emotions, negativity, or old patterns, this card is telling you to clear your space—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. A cleanse will help you feel lighter, more focused, and ready to move forward with fresh energy, so make sure to make this a regular ritual this year. Take time to reset and align yourself with the energy you want to attract. As Above So Below is a powerful reminder that your inner world creates your outer reality. The energy you hold within is reflected in the world around you. Spirit is encouraging you to focus on balancing both your spiritual and material needs. Ground yourself while staying connected to the bigger picture, and trust that the work you do internally will manifest externally in divine timing. Altogether, this advice is about taking a step back, releasing what no longer serves you, and realigning with your higher self. Spirit is reminding you that sometimes, the most powerful action you can take is to pause, cleanse, and trust in the balance of the universe.

For outcomes, I pulled the 5 of cups, the 3 of wands, Uranus, generational curses, and the rede. The 5 of Cups suggests that there might be moments of regret or disappointment ahead, likely tied to letting go of something that once held deep meaning. While this can feel heavy, it’s also a reminder that not everything is lost. There’s still plenty to build on, and Spirit is asking you to focus on what’s still standing rather than what has fallen away. This could represent releasing old habits, relationships, or patterns that no longer serve your highest good. The 3 of Wands brings a message of hope and expansion. After that release, you’ll find yourself looking ahead, exploring new opportunities, and planning for the future. This card is about growth and stepping into the unknown with a sense of optimism. It’s a signal that the work you’ve been doing is preparing you for bigger horizons, whether that’s in your career, relationships, or spiritual journey. The Uranus card points to unexpected changes or breakthroughs. Uranus shakes things up to realign you with your higher purpose, even if the changes feel chaotic at first. You might experience sudden shifts, like career changes, moving to a new place, or even unexpected opportunities that push you out of your comfort zone. It’s important to stay adaptable and open to where this energy takes you. Generational Curses is a powerful card showing that you’re breaking cycles that have been passed down through your lineage. This could be emotional patterns, limiting beliefs, or even financial struggles. Spirit is acknowledging the hard work you’ve been doing to heal not just for yourself, but for those who came before and those who will follow. This is no small task, but it’s one that will bring immense freedom and blessings. The Rede ties it all together with the message of alignment and living in accordance with your values. It’s a reminder to let your moral compass guide you through these shifts and changes. By staying true to yourself and your purpose, you’ll navigate any challenges with grace and come out stronger on the other side.

Best wishes Leo!
